As part of the project ”Sustainable university-enterprises cooperation for improving graduate employability (SUCCESS)”, funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union, UAS Kempten hosted representatives of higher education institutions in the Western Balkans in an interactive training week from 9 to 13 May 2022. The University of Tuzla was represented by Prof.dr. Majda Tešanović i Prof.dr. Edin Cerjaković.
The aim of the training week was to provide a clear idea of European best practices in terms of cooperation between universities and companies and start-up services offered there. During the first day, were presented the results of a survey of startup services offered in higher educational institutions of the WBC and reports on benchmarking of program countries. The second part of the day was organized interactively in the form of working group discussions, and the results of each discussion were presented at the final session of the week. During the other days, participants learned a lot about how universities and industry in Germany work together, with the aim of helping innovators and entrepreneurs make a breakthrough. During the working week, a tour of the laboratories of the University of Applied Sciences Kempten was organized, a visit to the University Fair event where faculties and companies were presented, as well as visits to the Allgäu Digital – Digitales Zentrum Schwaben, TTZ Produktion und Informatik, IFM – Adrive, StartUp Hochschule Kempten and Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship in Munich.
We especially thank Prof.Dr. Gabriele Schafer and her team for the whole organization.
