Research at the Faculty of Pharmacy is centered around the following scientific areas: Bromatology, Pharmaceutical Analytics, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Clinical Pharmacy). At the Faculty of Pharmacy both, basic and applied research is carried out.
Professors and teaching assistants of the Faculty of Pharmacy carry out research activities in the following areas:
Protein biochemistry
Protein isolation and characterization
Protein structure research
Immunochemistry
Immunology techniques (ELISA, immunoelectrophoresis, immundiffusion, western blot, polyclone antibody preparation)
Tumor biochemistry: malign lymphoma, breast cancer
Research activities are carried out through implementation of projects supported by:
Doctoral dissertations and masters’ theses research carried out as a part of doctoral and masters’ studies
Research and development projects supported by various organizations and funds such as EU and USA funds for science (research and development projects carried out in cooperation between Republic of Slovenia – Ministry of Science and Technology – and Bosnia and Herzegovina).
